MISSION STATEMENT
The Upper Peninsula Community Coalitions to Prevent Substance Abuse (UPC2) empowers the community to reduce the destructive effects of the abuse of alcohol and other drugs and works to prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among our youth through the implementation of the Reduce High Risk Drinking (RHRD) project.
VISION STATEMENT
UPC2 through the successful implementation of the RHRD project will empower youth to reduce involvement in high-risk drinking behaviors as well as reduce the destructive effects of the abuse of alcohol and drugs on individuals, families, and the community at large. UPC2 provides leadership in the development of education/prevention, intervention and public policy that will result in reducing high risk drinking behaviors.
This site is partially funded by a grant from Pathways through funding support by MDCH/ODCP and the Drug Free Community Program by SAMHSA.
